KPFT welcomes Tell the World, a new program, to its lineup.

Its hosts say Tell the World is about finding coherence in politics and making sense of the disparate information by offering commentary and in-depth analysis of current news stories to discuss how they affect Houstonians. “We will synthesize national news and its local consequences, and explore the broader implications of local news. There is a boisterous debate in national politics with a variety of viewpoints, and we have the resources to bring well-informed, local opinions to the show.”

Tell the World airs Wednesday nights at 10, following Technology Bytes. It replaces Montrose Arts.

Tell the World’s hosts describe the program this way: “Since we began producing Tell The World, we have made an effort to inform people of the stories we think are important to tell, and the facts that we feel should be clarified and sought out. One of our goals has always been to highlight the work of nonprofit organizations in Houston. We believe that by working with outside organizations, we can serve our community and listeners by bringing them stories and information to better themselves and our city.”
