KPFT and Legacy Community Health are pleased to announce a new programming initiative, debuting April 5.
The Pulse is a new 30-minute program aimed at telling the community’s story about healthcare. It is hosted by Legacy Community Health, Houston’s leader in services in the city’s diverse constituencies.
“Healthcare is a major election issue and one certain to define our cultural and political future,” said KPFT Program Director Ernesto Aguilar. “The Pulse aims to tell this important and unique story in ways accessible to our audience.”
Formed in 2005, Legacy identifies unmet needs and gaps in health-related services and develops client-centered programs to address those needs.
The Pulse airs Tuesdays at 4:30. Undecided, KPFT’s short-run election series, moves to Monday, starting April 4.
