KPFT’s Local Station Board is looking for interested KPFT members to fill 2 current vacancies on the board. If you are interested, please follow the procedure below:
Nominations to fill a mid-term vacancy on the LSB will be conducted by the LSB at its meeting June 12, 2024. Those wishing to be considered should send a statement about their candidacy to the LSB Secretary at lsb@kpft.org no later than midnight CDT Friday, June 7, 2024. Send any questions you may have regarding this special election to lsb@kpft.org also.
The Secretary will promptly forward all candidate statements to the entire LSB for each Delegate to consider selecting from among these submissions at most one candidate to nominate and so inform the Secretary no later than Monday June 10, 2024.
On June 10, 2024:
- Deadline for LSB members to identify nominees.
- The Secretary notifies those candidates who have been selected by one or more LSB members to nominate that they are nominated and invite the nominees to make a statement at the June 12 board meeting which will be held by via Zoom.
