You may remember that KPFT promised to deliver 1 blank for every $1,000 raised during our Fall Membership Drive.
The drive went slightly over its $150,000 goal, and that resulted in KPFT donating 75 blankets to The Women’s Home and 75 to the Star of Hope. The Women’s Home was very happy to receive them as they have so many clients who need the basics…including blankets for their and their children’s beds. The Star of Hope gives its thanks for its 75 blankets also.
The station was invited to visit the Women’s Home as they unveiled their blankets. The picture below shows Sandy Weinmann and Robin Lewis of KPFT and Tammy Mailloux and Julie Comiskey of the Women’s Home at the unveiling of the delivery.
