You thought it couldn’t get any better, what with the return of Rick Heysquierdo and Lone Star Jukebox to Saturdays on KPFT?
Well, it does get better! Roark Smith rejoins KPFT’s Saturday Music offerings, bringing back Wide Open Spaces beginning Saturday, September 7, from noon to 2 pm.
Other changes to the Saturday lineup: Deadbeat moves to the 2-5 pm slot, Bluegrass Depot airs from 5-7pm, and Fifty Years After moves to the 7-8pm slot.
And check out The Houston Collective hosted by Masaya Tamegai, Fridays from noon to 1pm, featuring musicians and bands with something new to share.
