Thanks to all those listeners and to those who continue to support COMMUNITY MEDIA:  it’s been 28 months since we last came to you from our studios at 419 Lovett. Through those days there have been many changes and still our community media resource has continued to inform, entertain and create those dinner table conversations.

Lovett was sold creating the opportunity to build a new studio on Caroline St, an ideal location to continue our legacy.  As I write this we are hopeful of a Labor Day return to live broadcast.

I want to thank Joe Marcinkowski and Metro Retro Furniture of Houston, Margie M. Connolly Law of Sugar Land and Webster and Bright Star’s Malcom Hackney for making significant contributions of goods and services, helping to make a new studio a reality.

KPFT is looking for contributions,  both monetary and in-kind, to power this project and the station forward   Contact Robin (robin@kpft.org) for in-kind donations or call 713-526-5738 for monetary donation or click ‘DONATE’ at the top of this page.

A new schedule will coincide with our go live date.  Check here for updates.

The more one knows, the less one believes
