KPFT has its official building dedication this Saturday, June 24, starting at 9am with a ribbon cutting and continuing for 3 hours with messages from:
- Former Houston mayor Annise Parker
- Pacifica Executive Director Stephanie Wells
- Pacifica National Board Chair Julie Hewitt
- KPFT Interim General Manager Sandy Weinmann (also host of KPFT show “Deadbeat”)
- Attorney Gordon Quan (also host of KPFT show “Coming to America”)
and several others to be announced!
Visitors will be treated to cake and champagne and you’ll get a look at a video that will thank hundreds of KPFT supporters and highlight KPFT’s history over the years. The on-air broadcast will be available via streaming on kpft.org also.
Come help KPFT celebrate the total opening of its studios in the new building on Caroline Street. We hope to see you there.
