All because of the generosity of over 900 listeners just like you. Thanks to everyone who helped out, either with a pledge or by volunteering, to get the station to a much more stable financial position.
The drive collected $151,400 in pledges, 101% of our goal! We also added close to 200 new sustainer members, and each one was matched by a generous anonymous member to the tune of $50 per new sustainer. And because we reached $150,000 plus a little more, KPFT will be sending 150 winter parkas to Houston Center for Independent Living in a community partnership with this organization.
If you’re waiting for a thank you gift, we are working every day to get you the gift you’re expecting. If you’re going to a concert with tickets you pledged for at KPFT, we hope you enjoy it very much.
As you may have heard we’ve received our first delivery of Memory Bricks and anticipate our second shipment any day now. We’ll be keeping you updated on progress towards creating the Brick Garden in the front yard as it “grows”.
