Amy Goodman and Democracy Now! are coming to Houston on May 16, accompanying the premier of Steal This Story, Please!, a portrait of Amy’s commitment to independent journalism and truth-telling over the past three decades. It’s directed by Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning filmmakers Tia Lessin and Carl Deal and covers some of the most impactful stories Democracy Now! has reported on over the years.
Tickets to a meet & greet with Amy (includes a signed poster, meal, and ticket to the 3:45 showing of the movie at River Oaks Theater), and single tickets to the 3:45 showing *only* will be sold by KPFT in a fundraiser for the station.
